Three days in Vienna
tripping on culture
high & low
drowning myself in art
visual input to the max
now i am leaving
saturated
longing for my camera
I am so over
iPhone picture-making!
Thanks to some of my family – aka “my Austrian roots” – for providing me with their own brand of humor, art & a bed
Wien/Vienna is pleasantly surprising me!
What i once thought as being old-fashioned, conservative, boring and so on, it turnes out to be a pulsing place nowadays, interesting, colorful, hip-ish (not to mention hipster-ish ; )
Check it out!
Lots of young-ish people on bikes, long-boards, skates, hoverboards and such.
Serious danger for us lame people on foot : )
Thanks god for Coffee Houses > Safe Zones
Lots of them in Wien, all kinds of them!
And now – without further ado – some of the awesome artworks that i have been lucky to see in the original
Gustav Klimt 1862 -1918
Egon Schiele 1890 – 1918
Claude Monet 1840 – 1926
Photography
Kurt Hutton 1893 – 1960
So long Vienna, t’was fun to walk your cobblestone streets!
Hasta luego.
See you again!
