One day the day will come
for sure
when i will die
when i will start my journey
into the Great Unknown
I am not afraid of that journey
I am … curious
But when i go
I wish to go lightly
no fuss, no tears
just gratitude
I wish my body given to the fire
my ashes given to the ocean
no grave
no stone
no speeches
I want to leave no footprint in the sand
I wish to go lightly
Just Love shall remain
Love in the hearts of the people i loved
and the beings i touched
lightly
ps:
The Buddha’s teaching always stresses the importance of living with the awareness of impermanence.
To be conscious of the fact that everything passes.
Also the body, also our personal life.
He also indicated that there is a underlying permanence,
a ground of all being.
Knowing this is Peace.
Beautiful insights Chris
