glorious drop(s)
rain has (finally) come
humidity in the air at first
sticky on the skin
pearls of sweat running down my backside
drop drop
glorious rain
you make us all so happy
drops first
then spray
and then the dams of heaven break
and rives pour down
and all nature jubilates
what has been brown
will be green again
what seemed like death
will become gloriously alive
And all will grow and blossom and be abundant again
