Again its April 20
Since 50 years people all over the Earth celebrating this day.
A reminder that we all live on sacred ground.
On Pacha Mama.
Mother Earth
Gaia
A small gesture of gratitude and giving back in Spirit & thought.
A small token of gratitude for all we humans get from Earth.
Thank you Pacha Mama, I honor you & love you for your beauty and abundance.
Every day i walk the beach of the ocean feeling blessed.
Every day i watch the waves of your ocean full of dolphins & fish of all sizes and color.
Every day i see the birds in your sky.
Every day i lift my arms wide and my heart flies too.
Thank you for carrying me along.
Thank you for feeding me with green plants, with fresh water, with clear air, wind and sunshine.
I promise by my life that i will walk lightly upon you.
Making only tiny footprints as i go.
Leaving all places that i happen to come upon more beautiful even then i have found them.
I promise!
For 50 years now, since first Earth Day in 1970 some people are growing in that awareness that we must honor and treat with care the planet we live on.
And for the same 50 years the majority of us humans stay oblivious to the fact that we can not exploit the Earth and all its resources forever, that we can not decimate all forms of species that we share the Earth with forever, that we can not just take for granted and can not just destroy and plunder and use and rape our Mother forever.
Many people are just blind to what we are doing to Pacha Mama, like children playing with fire.
But many others are doing the raping with full awareness, out of greed and materialism and egotism.
Like any real good mother, Mother Earth is patient, very loving and strong and patient and patient and patient.
But then, one day … not any longer.
Lets just hope we will not see that day!
Happy Earth Day 2020
Thank you, dear brother.
Beautiful important words.
Thanks Cris…
