like a church to me

Happy among the tree trunks
That give this beach
Its name

The trees that are
Like pillars
Holding the big sky

And the aisle of
Palm trees
Leading up to
The Altar
of The Sea

The Ocean
Wild, untamed
Waters of Life
Wave after
Wave after Wave

Like a mighty Choir
Singing
The Praise
Of Creation

In the Language
Our Cells know so well

All of That
Is Peace to Me
All of That
Means Home
